Senior Project Architect
Justin joined AEM in 1996 as a Graduate Architect and by 1998 was elevated to Project Manager. He became a registered architect in 2001 and has demonstrated skill and leadership in his every endeavor. Justin is currently a Senior Project Architect responsible for projects both large and small for the firm’s educational, institutional, commercial, retail and industrial clients. Justin has developed the standards that are followed by AEM’s design and drafting team and he also manages and edits the firm’s master specifications.
Justin is a hands-on architect through the entire life of his projects and he prefers to administer the construction phase of his projects personally. He believes that consistency of project leadership throughout all phases of a project is the key to project success. Justin’s designs strive to be aesthetically pleasing, while harnessing the cost effective benefits of environmentally sensitive and sustainable materials and systems.
Justin is a graduate of Boyertown Area High School and earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Philadelphia University. He believes that everyone should give back to their communities. Justin currently serves on the Berks County Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. He is also the Treasurer for the Crestwood Swimming Pool Association and he serves as a judge for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) annual Excellence in Construction awards program. Justin previously served as the Chair of the Exeter Township Uniform Construction Code Appeals Board, as an event judge for the Pennsylvania Regions 5 & 9 Technology Student Association (TSA) and as the Chair of the Breakfast Committee for the Greater Reading Young Professionals (GRYP).
